1. Our Approach to Returns

At Amati Preloved Designerbags, every handbag is carefully selected and individually inspected. Because we specialise in unique preloved and vintage designer pieces, every item has its own history, character and condition.
EU consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the item.

2. Before You Purchase

Our preloved designerbags are individual pieces. The photographs and product description relate to the exact item offered for sale, rather than a stock image or generic example.
Each bag may have characteristics such as signs of previous use or age-related wear. These are described and shown as accurately as possible.

3. Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the item, without providing a reason. This right also applies to preloved and vintage products.
To exercise the right, notify Amati within the applicable 14-day period.

4. How to Request a Return

Email info@amatipreloved.eu with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
Notify us within 14 days of receiving the order and return the item within 14 days after notification.
Return the item in the same condition in which you received it, with accompanying accessories, packaging, tags and other included items.
Handle and inspect the item only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Security & Authenticity Tag
To protect both our customers and Amati Preloved Designerbags against fraud and the return of substituted or non-authentic items, Amati may attach a unique security and authenticity tag to each item before shipment.
This tag is used to identify and verify that the item returned to Amati is the same individual item that was originally purchased and shipped to the customer.
The security and authenticity tag must remain securely attached to the item if the customer wishes to return it.
A return cannot be accepted for a refund if the security and authenticity tag has been removed, cut, detached, replaced, altered or otherwise tampered with, subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.
This requirement is particularly important because our products are unique preloved designer items and, in most cases, only one individual piece is available. The security tag forms part of our return verification process and helps prevent the return of a different, substituted or counterfeit item.
Customers may inspect the item during the statutory withdrawal period, but the security and authenticity tag must remain attached and intact if the item is to be returned.
Amati reserves the right to verify the authenticity, identifying characteristics and condition of every returned item before processing a refund, subject to applicable law.

5. Return Shipping

The direct cost of returning an item under the statutory right of withdrawal is the customer's responsibility, provided this was communicated before purchase.
Because Amati specialises in high-value designerbags, we strongly recommend fully tracked and insured return shipping appropriate to the item's value.
The customer remains responsible for the returned item until Amati receives it. Please retain proof of postage and tracking information.

6. Refunds

After valid withdrawal, Amati will refund the payments received in accordance with applicable law.
This includes the standard original delivery cost. Additional cost for a more expensive delivery option is not refunded.
Refunds are normally made using the original payment method.
Amati will wait until the item is received.
A reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item may be deducted where permitted by law.

7. Unique Preloved Items

Every handbag sold by Amati is an individual piece. Once sold, the exact same piece may no longer be available.
A returned item may therefore be inspected again before being made available for resale.
This does not affect statutory withdrawal or other consumer rights.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Every item is carefully inspected before shipment.
If an order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect item, or does not correspond with the agreement or information provided at purchase, contact info@amatipreloved.eu as soon as reasonably possible with the order number and, where possible, photographs.
We will assess the situation and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with statutory consumer rights. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes those rights.

9. Preloved Condition

Preloved and vintage designerbags have been previously owned and may naturally show signs of use, age or wear.
Characteristics clearly described and/or shown in the listing and consistent with the stated condition are not automatically defects.
