We are a fully online business and don’t have a physical  showroom. Our collection is housed in a protected storage location and only accessed when an order is placed. We personally collect each bag, inspect it, and package it with great care before shipping.

2. Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all products, offers, orders and agreements made through the Amati Preloved Designerbags webshop.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

3. Preloved & Vintage Products

Amati specialises in authentic preloved and vintage designer handbags and accessories.
All products are pre-owned unless explicitly stated otherwise. Individual items may show signs of wear, age or previous use. These characteristics are part of the nature and character of preloved designer pieces.
We describe condition carefully and transparently. A preloved item described as “excellent condition” is not equivalent to a brand-new boutique item. Customers may request additional information, measurements or photographs before purchasing.
All products are subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.

4. Authenticity & Brand Disclaimer

Amati guarantees that designer items offered through our webshop are authentic.
Amati is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or otherwise associated with the designer brands featured. All brand names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Product Information & Photography

We aim to provide accurate information about each item, including brand, model, material, dimensions, condition and accessories.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the customer's device or screen.
Photographs form an important part of the product description. Customers should review all photographs and product information carefully before ordering.
Included accessories such as a dust bag, box or authenticity card will be stated in the product description.

Unique, One-of-a-Kind Items

Each item offered by Amati is a unique, individual preloved piece.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the product shown in the photographs and described in the corresponding product listing is the exact item that the customer will receive.
Unlike new products that may be available in multiple identical units, preloved and vintage designerbags are generally individual pieces. Each item has its own history, character and condition, and generally only one specific piece is available for sale.
The photographs displayed with a product listing are photographs of the actual item offered for sale and are intended to accurately represent its appearance, condition, colour, details and included accessories.

6. Prices & Payment

All prices are stated in euros (€) and displayed in accordance with applicable VAT rules.
Shipping costs are shown during checkout before the order is completed.
Amati reserves the right to correct obvious pricing, typing or product information errors.
Orders are processed once required payment has been received.

7. Placing an Order

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
Amati may cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud or unexpected unavailability. If payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided at checkout using a tracked, insured and, where applicable, registered delivery service.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary by destination, carrier and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Amati carefully packages each item for transport.
For consumer purchases, Amati remains responsible for the item during shipment until the parcel has been physically received by the customer or a third party designated by the customer, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
If a parcel is lost or damaged before receipt, the customer should contact Amati. We will investigate with the carrier and, where applicable, use the insurance or other protection available through the shipping service.

9. Right of Withdrawal

EU consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the product, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, notify Amati in writing within the applicable period at info@amatipreloved.eu and return the product within 14 days after notification.
The product should only be handled to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Any resulting reduction in value caused by excessive handling may be taken into account where permitted by law.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, direct return costs are the customer's responsibility.
Upon valid withdrawal, Amati will refund the payments received, including standard original delivery costs. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery option are not refunded.
Amati may wait with the refund until the returned product is received or proof of return is provided, whichever occurs first.

10. Returns & Return Risk

If a customer exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the item and return shipment until Amati receives it.
Customers are strongly advised to use fully tracked and insured return shipping appropriate to the value of the item and to retain proof of postage and tracking information.
If a return is lost or damaged while being transported back to Amati, the customer remains responsible for the return shipment, subject to applicable law.

Security & Authenticity Tag
To protect against fraud and the return of substituted or non-authentic items, Amati may attach a unique security and authenticity tag to an item before shipment.
The tag is used to verify that the item returned is the same individual item originally sold and shipped by Amati.
Customers wishing to return an item are required to keep this tag attached and intact. Amati reserves the right to verify the returned item's identity, authenticity and condition before processing a refund, subject to applicable law.

11. Legal Guarantee & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects statutory consumer rights under Dutch and European law.
Pre-owned and vintage products remain subject to applicable statutory conformity and consumer protection rules.
Clearly described or photographed wear and imperfections consistent with the stated condition will be taken into account when assessing conformity.
If a product does not conform to the agreement or has an undisclosed defect, contact Amati with details and, where possible, photographs. Amati will assess the matter in accordance with applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

Amati will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.
This does not affect liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Amati is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as carrier delays, customs procedures, strikes or transport disruptions.

13. Intellectual Property

Website photographs, product descriptions, texts, logos, graphics, designs and other content are owned by or licensed to Amati unless stated otherwise.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

Amati may amend these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The version applicable to an order is the version available when the purchase agreement was concluded, unless a change is required by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the country where the consumer resides remain unaffected.
Disputes will, where permitted by law, be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
